I think that this little project will be perfect for making things for your home, but also perfect for personalized, inexpensive gifts. First things first. You need to download the Waterlogue app for your phone. This is a $2.99 app, but I promise it will be worth it!
The next thing you need to do is find a photo you love! This can be anything! I found a pineapple I liked, downloaded it to my phone, and then opened it in the app.
Then just play around! At the bottom of the app you'll see various painting styles. Select one and watch the app "paint" your picture!
After you've chosen a painting style that you love, you can customize it even more by changing the size of the brush and how light or dark you want your painting to be.
Once you're done "painting", save the photo and email yourself a copy.
Now using your computer, set it up to print. I'm printing mine on watercolor paper for a more authentic look, but cardstock would totally work, too!
*Bonus tip: If you're using a thicker paper, be sure to load it through the rear tray and don't forget to select high quality printing!
Then just trim to size and pop it in a pretty frame! I scored mine for $6.99 at Homegoods!
